We are happy to announce that CIRFS became a member of The Alliance for Sustainable Management of Chemical Risk (ASMoR).

ASMoR is an alliance of over 30 members who share a common position on the Essential Use Concept (EUC) in EU chemical legislation and the common goal to ensure that safe uses of hazardous substances remain permitted. ASMoR also takes joint positions on the broader reform of chemical risk management.

ASMoR was created in the context of the new EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS), which opened the debate on the Essential Use Concept (EUC) and safe uses in light of the revision of the REACH and CLP regulation. The Alliance focuses its work on the application of the EUC and chemicals management related issues more generally.
