Process Emissions to Land

Process emission to land is strictly regulated by national and European legislation and is not permitted.

In case of a calamity, despite, the legislation in place imposes an immediate cleaning up of the spill.

Consequently, the man-made fibre production process does not directly result in any contamination or other deterioration of land. This is not always the case with natural fibres, where land is needed to grow the crops and where pesticides or irrigation are needed to bring about an acceptable yield.
