Membership Categories

CIRFS membership consists of two categories : full and associate.

Full members are companies producing man-made fibres in Europe.  Membership is open to producers in the European Union and any other European country, including Belarus, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.  CIRFS members currently represent over 70% of European production of man-made fibres within its scope.

Producers of polyolefin fibres (polypropylene and polyethylene) are associated with CIRFS through its affiliate organisation EATP (European Association for Textile Polyolefins), which was integrated into CIRFS in 2017.

Associate members are companies or organisations producing man-made fibres in other regions of the world, and companies and organisations serving, supplying and clients of the man-made fibres industry.
