CIRFS is an abbreviation for "Comité International de la Rayonne et des Fibres Synthétiques" or in English "The International Rayon and Synthetic Fibres Committee". It is the representative body for the European man-made fibre industry.

CIRFS has members in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. It also has associate members in Brazil, Egypt, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia and Romania, and a group of major international raw material suppliers.
